Trip details

All Wobblers and FCC are welcome to a full week cycling in Majorca from 1st to 8th October 2024 following on from the very successful 2022 and 2023 trips. The plan is to offer two ride choices each day (assuming there is a Garmin user available for each ride) with obvious length and climb differences. There will also be plenty of spare rides if you simply wish to do your own thing. This will however depend on who is coming and their ride ability.

Add bike hire as approximately EU26 a day for a Ultegra Cube Carbon Disc with accident insurance, higher spec bikes available and lower spec ones too, even E-Bikes. You must book early several months before travel on-line because you cannot just turn up and collect. Booking opens earlt 2023 (link below). Choose location Majorca, then Portblue Club Pollencia, Exclusion of liability no, Cube Carbon and you will need to know your height in cm.

Notes

Typical daily schedule:

Breakfast 7:30-8:00. Meet at reception 9:00 for the ride start (may be earlier for longer ride days). Back at hotel mid/late-afternoon, tea by the pool / chill, drinks in the bar 6:00 – 6:30. Evening meal 7:00-8:00 (will try to reserve a wobble table) There are two restaurants but from experience we prefer the lower one by the Tri pool. It has a great bar and a nice evening atmosphere. Bar & drinks, compare aches and pains, post ride chit chat & plan the next days cycling. On arrival day the plan is to get the hire bike sorted as soon as possible to allow time for a late afternoon ride.

Suggested bike related items to bring:

Saddle bag with: 2 x tube, 2 x tyre lever, multi tool, patch repair kit, wobble contacts form
Top bar bag for gels and snacks - optional
Own saddle (highly recommended) – optional with large suitable Allen key
Own pedals – optional but recommended with large suitable Allen key – they have SPD and SPDSL
Own water bottles x 2
Small chain lubrication
Important - Your Huerzeler bike reservation confirmation
Garmin / Wahoo – preloaded with all the possible Majorca routes above
Garmin / Wahoo cycle mount and suitable charger
Cycling shoes and helmet
Not required Pump – provided on hire bike – optional C02 head
